ConsentEd

ConsentEd is a collective of 10 individuals who believe that we all deserve to choose when, how, and with whom we have sexual experiences and we deserve to have these choices respected 100% of the time. We deserve to walk where we want to and to wear the clothes that we want without worrying about being sexually assaulted and being blamed for it. We deserve TV shows and movies that don’t promote sexual violence and make a mockery of people’s traumatic experiences. We deserve to be believed and support if we are survivors of sexual violence, and we deserve a society that actively condemns sexual violence in all its forms. We deserve a world without sexual violence.

Hollaback Alberta

What is Hollaback?
A global movement to end street harassment using online and mobile technology.
We believe that everyone has a right to feel safe and confident without being objectified. Sexual harassment is a gateway crime that creates a cultural environment that makes gender-based violence OK. There exists a clear legal framework to reproach sexual harassment and abuse in the home and at work, but when it comes to the streets—all bets are off. This gap isn’t because street harassment hurts any less, it’s because there hasn’t been a solution. Until now. The explosion of mobile technology has given us an unprecedented opportunity to end street harassment--and with it, the opportunity to take on one of the new frontiers for women’s, LGTBQ, and everyone’s rights around the world.
