Writing about mental health from a feminist counselling perspective
Hey there! It turns out I love writing about and talking about mental health. Here you'll find quick links to articles I've written, podcasts I've been on, and resources that I've developed.

Something I'm quite proud of is that I was contracted by the United Cultures of Canada Association to write three manuals on the topics of intimate partner violence and vicarious trauma for settlement workers. These were published in 2020, along with a number of other incredible pieces of work, all available on the UCCA website. Doing this kind of work has been so invigorating (I love getting into the writing zone) and of course I love being able to spread the word about psychological knowledge as far and wide as I possibly can. I know we're all stronger and more creative when we're better regulated and grounded. If I can help make that happen by teaching some of the tools to help with that, I'm all for it.

With that in mind, please feel free to send me a note if you're agency is looking to contract out some writing related to psychology. At the moment, I'm keen on writing about burnout culture, handling crisis, trauma healing, shame resilience, feminist therapy, but mostly feeling pretty open to hearing what's out there and what people are hoping to learn about.
